OptoOPCServer is a fast and efficient OPC DA 2.0-compliant server for exchanging data with Opto 22 groov EPIC and SNAP PAC systems running PAC Control strategies, or with SNAP Ethernet-based I/O units (including groov RIO, SNAP PAC brains, and legacy Ethernet brains). OptoOPCServer integrates these systems with PCs on an Ethernet network running OPC clients such as Microsoft products, third-party packages, and custom applications you create with tools such as Visual C++.
OptoOPCServer is also strongly recommended for applications where multiple PCs are running the same or different copies of PAC Display Basic or PAC Display Professional HMI projects.
