Description
It is recommended that a duct be filled to about 50% of its depth with optical fibre cords. Thus, a 600 mm wide duct typically can carry about 6860 of Ø2.0mm optical fibre cords or about 2970 of Ø3mm optical fibre cords, without causing excessive stress on them. The duct is made of tough engineering plastic with a non – halogen fire retardent. The duct connects to other 600mm duct sections and various elbows, tee’s, crosses, reducers, adapters etc., using the 600mm joiner (Part No: TC1279-410A). These items are available separately.
