Description
It is recommended that a duct be filled to about 50% of its depth with optical fibre cords. Thus, a 300mm wide duct typically can carry about 5850 of Ø1.6mm optical fibre cords or about 1650 of Ø3mm optical fibre cords, without causing excessive stress on them. The duct comes complete with a lid and is made of tough Noryl plastic with a non-halogen fire retardant. The cover does not have hinges; it clips onto the duct. The duct connects to other 300mm duct sections and various bends, adapters etc., using the slotless joiner (Part No: TC1279-287A).
