Description
The mounting bracket Kit (Part No: TC1279-297KIT) is used to attach (300x100mm) plastic duct (Part No’s: TC1279-275 or TC1279-275A (with lid)), to duct mounting ironwork. They allow 300mm ducting to be fitted to either 1/2” or 5/8” UNC threaded rods, or alternatively M12 and M16 metric threaded rods. This Kit consists of: a 300mm duct mounting bracket (Part No: TC1279-297) with 3 x M12 hex head set screws and nuts and 2 x straight brackets (Part No: TC1279-36). The mounting bracket grips the 300mm ducting and bolts to the supporting brackets. The straight bracket/s are secured onto either 1/2” or 5/8” UNC threaded rods, or alternatively M12 and M16 metric threaded rods; which are supplied with Kits (Part No’s: TC1279-297AKIT & TC1279-297BKIT). These Kits are both available separately. Typically, the 1/2” dia UNC threaded rods (alternatively M12 threaded rods) are used for suspended mounting from the ceiling; whilst the 5/8” dia UNC threaded rods (alternatively M16 threaded rods) are used for mounting the Duct System above racks.
