This guide is used where pigtails and patch – cords are routed around 90-degree corners. It is a simple means of providing a 30-mm radius guide that eliminates fibre stress through bending. The guide is basically a curved surface with a clip at one that enables it to be clipped to any flat surface (of thickness between 1.6 and 3.0-mm). It can also be clipped into itself, both length and sideways, to extend the guide angle or increase the surface area available.
