Description
The SNAP-PS5U power supply (100-250 VAC input) can provide 5 VDC power for loads up to 5 amps. This compact, sturdy supply is the best source of AC or DC power for your Opto 22 SNAP PAC hardware. It includes a built-in fuse, an LED status indicator, and an ON/OFF power switch for ease of use.
The SNAP-PS5U is designed to provide 5 VDC power for a SNAP PAC rack with an I/O processor (SNAP PAC brain or R-series controller) and I/O modules mounted on the rack. To figure power requirements, see the SNAP Power Supplies Data Sheet (form 1120).
If you do not need 5 amps and can use a 120 VAC input, see the SNAP-PS5, which provides 4 amps.
NOTE: This power supply is also compatible with SNAP Ethernet, SNAP Ultimate, and SNAP Simple I/O units, as well as serial controllers and brains.
