The retrofit Support bracket is used to attach either 220mm or 100mm duct to an existing threaded rod; which cannot be removed. It is simply a straight bracket with a slot for fitting to existing ½ inch (12mm) & or 5/8 inch (16mm) rods. A locking tab is included which enables fitting to existing rods without dismantling. ie. The existing nuts are undone and the bracket slid into place, the locking tab then locates the bracket and the nuts are retightened.
